Ted Ree...See......one of your own bros confirmed what I was saying.......sometimes there is a God.
How does companies hiring engineering help from India for $5/ hr possibly prove your charges of racism. In fact, that proves the opposite, companies will hire any nationality if the price is right. Its economics, not racism which determine who the companies hire.
That said, I hope that 5 is just a teaser price, and that hopefully they will go up to around $25/ hr minimum shortly. In my business, we have had to contend with the Mexican inflow. However, they have had to live here, which isn't that cheap, so you still have to pay a decent wage, however they quite often don't speak good english, and know their way around. The same with manufacturing in Mexico, or overseas. It still cost money, and takes time, to ship raw product to Mexico, and then ship the finished goods back. The engineering talent from overseas, however, is a different ballgame. They can still live in a cheap place, and transfer the data electronically, not tariffs, and no time delay; meaning Tench, and similar professions won't have the protection from low ball competition we have. This could be a disaster in the making for a lot of professions; and I am willing to bet you will rue the day you rejoiced over whitey having more competition. |
