Jim,

The short interest is good news. As much as I would like to believe
otherwise though, the 6.2 million is a very old stat that
just has not been updated in compnay profiles and the like. In any
case, it is second or third hand and to be given priority over other
more recent references.

Also, AOL had fixed rate pricing last quarter and made a profit.
Why do people think that the 10% increase in subscribers this
quarter will not bring the corresponding increase in revenues?

I hope (pray?) AOL stock does come down to earth, but the picture may not be as bleak as some here paint it.
