Have you read Emilio's book "A Brave Black Regiment?" No, but I'll look for it, thanks. Anyway, the movie was good. There were some annoying flaws in it but some very nice accounts. The one flaw that bothered me was the attack on Fort Wagner. The movie portrayed it as an attack from north to south. Unfortunately, the attack was from south to north. Yep... Also, the gov't issue muskets had serial numbers that the sergeant played by Morgan Freeman read off as he handed them out. Couldn't have happened, no serial numbers. Quite small quibbles, though, considering.
