We weren't allowed to cook ours.

One time, my oldest brother and I went out and got us a mess a frogs. We went into the kitchen, washed 'em off and put 'em in our mothers best cast iron pot. My brother put in a spoon full of lard, put the lid on and lit the fire on the stove top. It didn't take long before there was this horrible smell going all through the house. Our mother came home and asked up what we been up to looked at the pot on the stove top and started cursing. We got the living daylights beat outta us for that one.

After that, the law was we can catch as many as we care to but don't go near the stove with 'em!

Never watched that one. What happened?
