Wise investors will tell you that the best time to sell is when everyone is saying to buy. I made the decision to dump about half of my position in most of my stocks a couple weeks ago. I could be wrong, but I certainly don't mind taking part of the obscene profits that I've seen recently off the table.

To stay on the topic of the thread, here's a statement about SyQuest:

If a correction or bear market occurs, SYQT will probably hold up as well or better than other stocks. It is based so much on irrational valuations (because you can't value it rationally, IMHO) that it doesn't follow the ups and the downs of the market in general or even the tech market. (How's that for a positive statement from a SYQT bear? <G>)
