Excellent post. I will respond when I have more time. But I agree with nearly all points except MSFT, and as this is the INTC thread, I will not get onto that subject.

But one of your latter points is an overlooked one- namely, that why should we expect the investment community to see the upturn around the corner when they missed the largest downturn in history?

PS. My father worked at Bethlehem Steel so I cam empathize with you. Very poor management there also.
