Sig, specifically regarding BEAS, short interest is about 14.5mm, shares out is 410.5mm, so short interest is 3.5%, way below alarm levels. In general, if you own a stock that is heavily shorted, rather than just sell the stock blindly, it is best to understand exactly why the stock is heavily shorted. Further, if you understand why that logic is wrong, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't continue to own the stock.
