Morning larry: Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, and I appreciate your comments.
an interesting perspective you have, especially regarding the bonds. I agree that the utility sector is doing very well, gas sector and the gasoline providers with rising prices and the clouds of war. I have a play in the increasing gasoline costs, but I think that I missed the rise in natural gas - a lot is going to depend on what happens in Iraq.
I am still holding my Viacom - even though this battle between MK and Redstone, is utter stupidity. If by chance Mk does leave, I expect lawsuits to fly, either class action or directed at the directors and Redstone for lack of fiducuary duty. Redstone controls the company by owning about 8% - I do not see that holding up, against the fact that he is not acting in the best interests of the shareholders.
Board meets tomorrow Wednesday - I would think news by the end of the week.
thanks again for you thoughts - would you sell viacom at $40 or hold?
