The one very important thing we agree upon is that Bush has not made his case to the American people yet. He absolutely must do this. Of course, unlike you, I am aware that he has not gone to war yet and so not presenting the case publicly so far doesn't bother me. However, I am only willing to go so far on inference and trust. Now is the time for proof. He needs the support of the American people. If he can get that support, the rest will fall into place.

Abdicating sovereignty to the UNSC is an insane policy. I hope that the people advocating that position are using it as a shorthand for 'stong coalition'. Why give France a veto over American self-interest. Makes no sense to me.
