The peace movement must not let the Bushies set the terms of debate. It will lose if it does so.

The primary issue is NOT whether Iraq still has some WMD. I would be surprised if they do not considering the constant US threats. The real issue is who is the aggressor and who is the victim of aggression. The whole weapons issue is nothing but a smokescreen to sell an imperialist war of conquest to the public.

Nor is the issue Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal dictator but the key issue remains who is the aggressor and who is the victim of aggression? When Germany invaded Poland in 1939, the Polish regime of that time was a dictatorship not a democracy. But the world clearly saw who was the aggressor and who was the victim.
