Earnings report 1/29/03 Some numbers to keep in mind.
I am not going to look at wireless at this time. Current valuations are made (IMO) on the wireline and merchant platforms so this is what I will look at.
Revenues for Q3 were 33.6 million.
Q4 is historically the highest quarter, so we need to show a strong quarter.
Merchant processed 22 million transactions in Q3 up from 20 million in Q2. Since X-Mas is in Q4, we need to blow away the # of transactions. We increased to over 1,300 resellers of merchant services and added 11,000 merchant accounts for a total of 71,000 new merchant accounts in Q3. Where are we now?
The dollar amount of Merchant increased from 1,500,000,000 in Q2 (1.5 Billion) to over 1,700,000,000 (1.7 billion in Q3). Again, because of X-Mas, we need to blow this number away.
In searches I noticed a decrease in overall Queries in the last few quarters. We were down to 2,900,000,000 (2.9 Billion) searches last quarter. Since then Google came online for this quarter and an extended Overture agreement was signed. I see us actively on the Verizon web site and Earthlink website as well as Excite searches. We need to get Queries back over the 4 billion mark, at LEAST over the 2.9 billion mark. Again, Q4 is Christmas so we need to see a big increase. Metacrawler has been doing some advertising, lets see if there was payoff. |
