Do you remember that the police officers got off lightly as well.......that's what prompted the riots......or do you have selective memory?

No, I remember quite well. However the officers had at least some reason to beat King. Their crime was one of extent. They were doing their job...maybe too much, but still it was their job. I'm not convinced a white guy acting the same way as King wouldn't have been treated the same way that night. If so, it still would be wrong, but not racist.

On the other hand, Denny had no reason to be beaten and was a pure expression of racist violence.

Hate mail is of no benefit to anyone......so post me only when you have something constructive to say; otherwise, go hit a punching bag when you think the world isn't treating you well.

Hate mail? Whatever. Your bar for hate is extremely low. I may not agree with you (ever?) but I certainly don't hate you.

I responded because you completely glossed over the Denny beating which by any standard is more of a "hate crime" or instance of "racism" than the King beating. Both instances were outrageous, but the Denny instance was far more outrageous than the King instance.

In my opinion it's equally as outrageous as the gay guy that was dragged behind the car.
