I see what you are saying, but part of the blame does lie with the LAPD. After all, when you have a police chief that is more concerned about protecting officers than the public they swore to serve, you're bound to see problems come up.


Thanks for the interjection.

It also must be noted that because of their feud, there was a lack of communication between the police chief and the mayor that compounded the LAPD's unwillingness to respond. With the eruption of civil disobedience, its hard to believe that the two of them were not mature enough to put their differences aside.
