I spoke with Randy Reifel last week. Here is a summation of what he said. In case I misconstrue anything or you want to hear it for your self he is very open to talking with shareholders. Some of this is a repeat of what CC may have said and some may be in news releases etc. AT THE END OF THE POST ARE A COUPLE OF NICE NUGGETS.
He is doing extensive geophysical work on LaJuliana and Cucaracha before drilling. This is a very important phase to Randy and he will not be rushed to drill. We should expect more trenching results in late Feb or March for each property.
He said that Cucarach Dorado has an unusual footprint very similar to Marlin in that it has rich gold content with lots of oxides and no mixture of base metals. Said it was easier and cheaper to mine that way. Said some of the bonanza zones may run greater than 10g/t and that he expects to locate 3/4 million ounces and maybe up to 2-3 million oz.
I believe he said there would not be drilling until April but I may be mistaken, with results to follow in May. He will not drill each property simultaneously as he wants to use his best and only drill team on location one property at a time. He said each property would have an initial drilling program of around 10 holes each and he may release data on 5 holes at a time. If he found nothing with good mineralization with a lot of depth he may do less than 10 holes per location. He seemed to think he would drill Cucaracha Dorado 1st. He may be tying up more land around LaJuliana but please verify that with him as I am unsure if that is the reason for not going after it 1st.

He said he did not foresee any environmental, permitting or water issues but some of those would be concerns of whomever was to buy out CKG.

He also said that it took him a lot of time from scratch to put El Sauzal and Marlin together but that he was fairly sure he would make a discovery in less than ONE YEAR with his current properties. One of significance I may add.

Randy said he has sold companies 3 times now and intends to do the same thing again. He had two different teams of geologist and drillers working El Sauzal and Marlin and that each of those teams have been combined into one and THAT HIS TEAMS ARE VERY MOTIVATED.

Here comes the juicy part. Randy said they want to have at least 3 and maybe 4 properties tied up working them simultaneously towards his goal of another major discovery. And he wants this to happen in short order. DRUM ROLL PLEASE! Randy stated that in the coming month of February CKG is going to announce the acquisition of another very very gold vein rich property that is quite large. In fact it is so laden with potential vein systems they may take on a JV to get it all drilled.

He wants to work as fast as he can as he realizes we may be in a bull market at this time and he wants to maximize share price.

One other item I am a bit fuzzy on but I believe he said to not rule out an acquisition sooner than may be expected but the conversation turned and I did not go back to it. I believe he meant to say someone may just grab CKG and what they will soon have and there is the possibility of that happening sooner than later.
Please call Randy yourself and post your conversation. Do your own DD. I am way long the stock. I can tell you Randy believes in his properties, his team and his chances.
The conversation was rather fast paced so if I missed anything or have mispoken I apologize.
