I have to say I don't agree with the Viet Nam premise either. If we are attacked again, even in retaliation for whatever may happen in Iraq, yes, some will do the knee-jerk Viet Nam routine. But most Americans will realize that our country being attacked is not the same thing as fighting in Viet Nam.

No matter the reason for the attack. It will be divisive only only on the fringes. We will unite in the face of an attack.
