A couple of points:

1.- I referenced Dr. Strangelove and Kahn for fun. The Doomsday Machine scenario is crazy. Don't lose sleep over it. If Kubrick could figure out the problems with it, rest assured that it won't happen in real life.

2.- Boxcutters were terrific in the short term, when we were unprepared and unresponsive. Their use unleashed a response that has decimated AQ. The poor slobs can't get out to pee in the desert for fear that a Predator might not fire a missile that will turn them into a grease stain. In this sense, the use of boxcutters was quite unproductive.

Nintendo war is in many respects more "humane"--I hate to use that term--since precision prevents a lot of unnecesary carnage and destruction.
