2 snippits: Muted Au demand for a few days from following centers: "The Hong Kong market will be closed tomorrow through to Tuesday for the celebration of the Lunar New year and the Shanghai Gold Exchange will be closed for tomorrow through to February 7th. New Year's day is this Saturday and this year is the year of the goat (or sheep, ram)." Most likely traders there went home flat to slightly long in those two markets, considering Bush's IRAQ time-table. Retail trade may be brisk in those sectors if something untoward interrupts their respective celebrations.
