To All,
re: the Soros group selling a bunch of DDIM
This is old news for those stalwarts who cross swords on the DDIM thread, but it was just mentioned in Barrons over the weekend, so it's likely to be new news for some DDIM investors.
Anyway, to recap, they sold 505,000 of their shares, and kept 570,400 shares. Since they owned over 5% of the float, they had to file a 13D form and inform the general world of their move.
What's interesting (well, to me, anyway) is the amount of shares left. Not exactly a round number, eh? Well, it turns out that their remaining holdings are equal to 4.92% of the float, just under that magic 5%! So my evil thought is that they dumped a big chunk, and decided to publically sell just enough so that for future sales, they would no longer have to report anything.
Comments, anyone, or was this just a rehash of the obvious??
