imo greenspan's senility dates back to at least 1996 and his irrational exuberance speech. somewhere after that he lost his marbles and convinced the governors of the federal reserve that increased worker productivity would lead to the "new economy" and inflated whenever possible.

the george gilder of central bankers, our pal al greenspan is the SOLE reason for the bubble.

as an aside, the FOMC was castrated years ago. their decision here is meaningless...we tank after the announcement no matter what they say.
