I expect a quick end to the war, too. But not to the problems associated with it. Technology never saved other great nations of history, when their time came.
I don't believe now is necessarily the time, but a bunch of chest beating doesn't make me feel particularly good about doing that which I know must be done. Situations like this have to be entered into rationally. Not that I don't think we are doing this rationally...but one also has to consider the flip side.
Do most Arab nations know, and agree, with us? Do their people? Are we putting ourselves at risk for future terrorist attacks? How could/should we respond?

I'm not against the inevitable, I'm just hoping that full weight has been applied to make sure we don't slowly go down that slippery slope of declining power due to arrogance.
BTW, I support Bush, and I agree this war is necessary and winnable in a short period of time. But assymetrical actions, such as those dealing with al-Qaeda and other smaller groups, are very difficult to deal with, even with allied support.
