What kind of cool stuff do you see from that telescope at
home?

Rings of Saturn?
Jupiters Storm circles?
Footprints on the moon? <g>

My son (age 7) just recently got a telescope on a tripod
for his birthday.
It's small and inexpensive (around $100).
Seems pretty cool. At least for looking at the moon or
into the kitchen five houses down the road. <g>

It sure is tough to get a youngster not to touch the
telescope after spending 5-10 minutes to get it focused in
on a target.

One little tap and he's staring at black asking, "Where is
it?!"

...and those friggin planets and stars keep moving on us...

What do you plan to look at when you go to the big scope?

Any tips on what I should have my son investigate with his
new toy?

Thanks.
