This is admittedly thin gruel given the fact that Saddam by all accounts is not crazy about allowing others to use his toys in a manner that might not further his interests, though he has enough of them so he can share them without diminishing his toybox to any appreciable degree.

Perhaps I am misinterpreting you here, C2, but this appears to be a retraction from earlier claims that Sadddam is an irrational nutball bent on giving away his WMDs to global terrorist groups. I thought Bush's speech last night on Iraq was pretty generic without presenting either a compelling or definitive case for invasion. If this is going to his position before Americans and our allies then Bush is going to have his hands tied.
