At home I have an 8 inch F/12 refractor and just installed an ST2000 CCD but have lots to learn 8 inches is a serious piece of glass for a refractor. Never have worked with a CCD. I have two Maksutovs. One a Questar Duplex (3 1/2) and the other a 6 inch Quantum. The skies in the Ozarks leave a lot to be desired. Summertime is hazy and winter is a little chilly. Have fun!!!
