America has made it's share of mistakes. America's detractors have the benefit of hindsight, when they condemn some of our past leaders' dreadful decisions.

But, America, through all of it's mistakes, has always been the leading champion of democracy and freedom, and is primarily responsible for keeping much of this world out of the hands of tyrants.

Now, is a new day, and a new chance to make mistakes. The worst mistake would be to let Saddam succeed in building a nuclear, biological, chemical terrorist state. Once he is intrenched with all kinds of "deliverable" weapons of mass destruction, you can first kiss the Middle East goodbye. Once the ME goes, what would be next?
