I stopped in at the office on Friday to look at the operation. Everyone was very excited about the developments that are coming together. Apparently, the municipality of Surrey has looked at it, and have decided there is enough potential to further evaluate it. Gary, the new sales guy, has a power point pitch ready, and is starting to call on companies. Apparently he showed it to a small operator last week and the guy became very excited about the autonet. I can see the major advantage of autonet not only being able to collect on more of the tickets issued, but also the potential to operate with fewer people. An operator with a cell phone and autonet doesn't need as many people! He doesn't need a clerk to enter tickets, and keep lists, and mail notices! It is all at his fingertips as he enters the license plate numbers. The labor savings alone go a long way to cover the cost of the system. So now, a) it works, and b) there is a market. Now all that they need is to raise money to put the marketing into place! I suggest everyone talk to Laurie now at 1-800-338-7844 to get the scoop on how they are doing just that before the share price goes higher!
