We'll see what Powell has to convince the UN that he can't even share with our own politicians.

He's given no evidence that he has destroyed it.

The info provided last nite is essentially info that's been known for some or all of the past ten years. The war of Iraq has been sold to the American public as one that is necessary because Saddam is linked with al Qaeda and therefore, capable of bringing terrorism to the US.

Last nite, Bush once again did not tell us what the the link is between Saddam and al Qaeda but rather once again speculated that Saddam and al Qaeda may well link up sometime in the future, and oh what a mess that will be. Does that mean that every time this administration has a paranoid moment and determines that two entities may join together to attack us that we must go to war? Say Rumsfield has a momentary flash that the Ukraine and NK may get buddy buddy with each other, does that mean we have to declare war on one or both of them?

When I read that paragraph in Bush's transcript, it was only then that I realized how much we have been led down the primrose path. You have follow every word, every speech since last summer to see how the web was woven. Its disgusting.

Powell better come up with something solid next Wednesday, or I march Washington.
