John, speaking for CB, she thinks that home-steading was fine. It enabled her aboriginal ancestors to hijack some passing Pommy DNA to carry their DNA into modernity. Without the home-steading, she'd still be scraping buffalo hide and stitching up the wig-wam.

It's good for the natives to have we colonialists interpret their thinking for them.
