it's funny that when a "jewish" celebrity somehow serves the purposes of jews, they are quick to claim them as members of the tribe. but if their being classified as jews somehow doesn't suit their purpose, all of a sudden they are just secular nobodies. according to your logic, how many secular and unaffiliated jews should we cross off the lists that inevitably are posed as proof of jewish contribution to society. you know, the nobel prize lists, etc.
if we can't speak of half-jews and we can't count secularized jews, only affiliated or religiously observant jews, then how many actual jews (as you define it) died in the so-called holocaust? 600,000?
see the hypocrisy? there weren't 6 million affiliated and religious jews killed in the holocaust now were there? so if the mainstream jewish community wants to cite some number of 6 million jews killed in the holocaust, i should be able to count goldie hawn, paul newman, harrison ford, etc. as "jews" as well. |
