Thanks for the link, Lost1. I did read it, and a lot of those troubleshooting steps were taken with the exception of disabling the virus software. I even went out and spent $25 on a new cable thinking that the other one might have been defective. Hopefully the problem lies with the unit - I will only know this when the new one is delivered. If it is still doing it I will have to take further steps. Thanks for your research!
