Neocon, This cooperation among rogues is not new. Despite great ideological and racial hostility we had the nazi-soviet pact. Germany, Italy and Japan, the original axis, were strange bedfellows as well given germany racism which applied to both partners. To gain their regional and international interests why wouldnt terrorists and rogue states cooperate while on the same page. The fact they may end up being at war later on doesnt prevent this. Hitler knew for instance that despite nazi-soviet pact, the soviet union would ultimately be an enemy. mike
