Kerry is known as very honest, a real Honest Abe. Nobody is perfect but let's compare to Bush. In his State of the Union speech, Bush twisted, omitted and misrepresented the truth to his heart's content.
This is nonsense, obviously colored by liberalism. Liberals have a different view of the truth than do conservatives. Liberals rely a "Clintonized" version of the truth, in which "IS" doesn't necessarily mean "IS".
That said, my complaint with Kerry is not about his dishonesty (although, if you saw his "coming out" speech a couple weeks ago, it is difficult to suggest there was any "honesty" behind it).
Scarcely an item in your list of so-called "Bush lies" has even the slightest basis in fact, and I saw nothing in it that hasn't been discredited elsewhere OR that as an intelligent person I haven't determined on my own the allegation is untrue. So, don't bother.
The truth is that Bush has been accused of lying since before the campaign, and I've yet to see a credible report of anything that could be called a "lie". The guy is brutally honest.
On the other hand, every liberal who stood behind Clinton when he lied under oath has given up their right to accuse ANYONE of lying and have any credibility. If a liberal will lie about Clinton, you can't believe them about anything else.
The Democrats' entire platform, as enunciated by the likes of Kerry and Daschle, Gephardt and Sharpton, is nothing more than a trail of lies and exaggerations.
This is why the Democrat party is coming to an end. I sincerely hope the American people aren't fooled again into voting for a scoundrel Democrat. |
