Of course, like I said before, it's the Hollywood culture to go out and change the world, to believe in liberal and progressive issues, to make a difference just because they're on stage or on film. I remember Hollywood and music stars protesting Gulf War I back in 1991. The same old arguments were brought up back then: It's all about oil. We have no business there. It'll be the next Vietnam. We ought to negotiate. Etc.

Trust me, the American opposition to this war extends well beyond Hollywood.

As for Susan Sarandon, she comes across as more worried about her public image than holding strong to a controversial belief. Pardon me for being blunt, but if she can't take the criticism, she should keep her mouth shut.

Excuse me? Think McCarthy! Think conservative! Think early 1950's! She has reason to worry.....many people in the entertainment industry were ruined by that asshole........because of his paranoia. I don't blame her for being sensitive. She has three or four kids.......she doesn't want some jerkoff going after her or her kids because she disagrees with the president.
