EISENHOWER: "Beware the Military-Industrial Complex".

He stated this in his farewell speech as his term as President was ending in 1961. He could see the writing on the wall and the blood lust in the maw of the beast.

No sooner was he out the door and unable to control the M-I Complex than they immediately f*cked up and created the Bay of Pigs Fiasco while simultaneously laying the groundwork for the disastrous and immoral Viet Nam Fiasco. Kennedy had to be shoved out of the way because of his ambivalence to the Viet Nam war lust.

The M-I Complex was delighted that at least one out of two of these adventures was profitable.
