Les Etats-Unis ne donnent plus que quelques semaines à l'option diplomatique dans la crise irakienne, forts d'un soutien public exprimé par huit dirigeants européens, qui ont enfoncé un coin, jeudi, dans l'unité de l'Europe.
Les premiers ministres britannique, italien, espagnol, portugais, danois, polonais et hongrois, ainsi que le président tchèque sortant Vaclav Havel ont signé dans plusieurs journaux européens une tribune qui a fait grand bruit.
