"Bush hasn't any base to work from except his personal vendetta." He has a large base...but to start with he has: 1) a Murdering Despot (Saddam) who has authority over a small band of tyrannous thugs, shaking in his boots. 2) Leadership over a country of self governing and self determining citizens. 3) The support of the American people. 4) A responsibility to stand for justice and honor in world affairs, and against despotic tyranny and oppression. 5) The guts to stand, fearless in the face of brutality and reprehensible cynicism. "With NO economy and no market...." Sounds like the cry of a wimp being threatened by bullies.
