RE: "Nukular" ...A while back NPR did a segment on the history of presidential pronunciations of "nuclear". Many presidents have used "nukular", starting with Ike. The funny thing is Clinton used "nukular" about 1/2 of the time. Seems he liked to use that pronunciation when he was talking to the military (which uses nukular almost exclusively). Funny, but hardly surprising. He was (is) adroit, that's for sure. He can switch between the two pronunciations as adeptly as he turns on tears.
