WorldStar Announces Progress

EL CAJON, Calif., Jan. 30, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- World Transport Authority, Inc. (WTAI) (OTCBB:WTAI) (Frankfurt:920943) today announced that the company is in negotiations to obtain a substantial ownership in ground-breaking Hydrogen extraction technology, commonly referred to as "Hydrogen-on-demand." This technology is specifically designed to power the WorldStar utility vehicle created by WorldStar for on-site manufacturing in developing nations.

"This technology is totally unique and not related to fuel cell technology currently being developed by many firms around the world," said Will Robertson, Director of Media Management for the company.

World Transport Authority, Inc. is committed to obtaining and developing the technology needed for Hydrogen-on-demand to fuel the WorldStar utility vehicle in developing nations. The founders of WTA identified the need for an inexpensive, yet very rugged utility vehicle for developing nations around the world where road and terrain conditions are challenging. In addition, the focus of WTA has been to produce a low emissions vehicle that is environmentally friendly and inexpensive to operate from a fuel perspective. To meet this need, WTA has designed a highly unique vehicle it believes to be capable of the same favorable economic impact for developing nations that the Ford Model T had in the United States and the Volkswagen Beetle had in Europe.
