One glaring example was Cheney on Meet The Press stating what he knew was a lie, that M<ohammed Atta met with Iraqi intel in Prague. Passing on faulty intel or vague rumors doesn't mean you are lying. Truly, I believe the real reason behind the war is oil If you mean grabbing oil thats nonsense, if you mean removing a threat from the area with a huge portion of the world's proven oil reserves then yes that is a big reason. No imminent danger. Saddam is in a tight box now. Even if he is hiding weapons. He is sort of in a box but he can continue to work on the weapons and the box can not be maintained forever. Tim
