I actually disagree John. From experience, I've found the topic ends up spinning off into the whole global warming debate which has too many branches into politics, the environment and so forth.

My impression is that the way we got into this discussion was the meaning of your post that the Senate voted 95-0 against the Kyoto Treaty. That strikes me as not about global warming or any such. Just what it meant for the Senate to have that debate and the outcome. Strikes me that it's very relevant.

But, again, it's up to you.
