No politician will tell people they have to do with less.
Nor will they do anything to lose votes.
They will simply be voted out by the public that wants $2 back for every $1 paid in. For real change, their will be pain first after the pumping ceases to prop it all up.

It appears you just have an anti-Bush agenda. Your arguments are that of a simple mind clouded by some twist of divide and conquer.
The excesses of the 90's must be worked off. Not to mention the excesses of the 2000's so far. People are still banking 100s of thousands tax free based on Clintons tax cut.
When the music stops it will do a little dive and then wallow down for at least 5 more years. Things are going to get a lot worse. Bush will be lucky to get to a second term.
