>>> Sources told The Post that U.S. intelligence agencies have received new information from communications intercepts that al Qaeda operatives are talking about a spectacular attack in re sponse to a U.S. invasion of Iraq.

"There is information that al Qaeda sees war with Iraq as a new opportunity to exploit the tensions in the region for its own purposes," said Vincent Cannistrarro, former counterterrorism director for the CIA.<<<

OK, so let's go to war against an entity that isn't al Qaeda? That makes sense, doesn't it? Of course it doesn't. Fact is Saddam's political party has been opposed to OBL and his fans for a long, long time. However, OBL will use any pretext possible to shake up terror worldwide, especially in the US.

If Bush pulls the war trigger on Iraq, we'd better go dust off those ole' public safety books from the early '60s and learn how to hide under tables and chairs again ... maybe go out and buy a helmet or something.
