So if there is a war, there will be an activation of the Sealift to a much higher degree than it currently is at.

Unless, of course, the military has already prepositioned enough equipment and supplies in the region to meet demand ahead of time. The Air Force, for one, I know from personal contacts has been positioning more than just "getting the tanks rolling" supplies throughout the Gulf for months. You don't seem to have considered that you may be fighting the "last war" Carl...
