I know, on the one hand, Jabil "has" to do this. But on the other hand, how long can this go on, with the US still being the destination for most exports? That is, how will the US keep buying the goods produced by all these exporting countries as our middle class gets decimated?
Surely this is the real economic process that Marx warned of. It's just simple common sense that it can't continue. The only way it might continue is if other countries develop strong middle classes of their own. Is there a real possibility of that?
Oh well, I guess a tax cut for the wealthy in this country will take care of it, then they'll be able to invest in the new capacity that is being closed down by the EMS and other companies. What a great idea.
