So you can figure you had no "Crippled maimed" American Soldiers in German Hospitals. 100 soldiers were treated in Germany after the Afghanistan campaign. army.mil I couldn't find an article on the Gulf War (Internet not yet present then) but I remember there were several articles on US soldiers treated in Germany, both in US and Bundeswehr military hospitals. We are a couple of hours closer to the battleground.
