You are right! Of course he is. Funny you should mention this. Gergen was asked, "Could you compare Bush to Reagan?" Gergen replied, (roughly)

"Reagan campaigned right and governed center. You have to remember that he voted three times for FDR, who was his hero. Bush has campaigned center and governed right. He is planning to implement policies that Reagan only talked about. Bush is a much bigger gambler than Reagan was. He bet everything on winning last November and won. So this administration could be called 'Reagan III', only more so"

But this "Religious Right" bugaboo that the Dems use is wrong, and if they are not careful, it will come back to bite them. I showed you what the real numbers are. And remember, people who go to church regularly tend to be more conservative, and vote conservative than those who don't. (The exception of course, are my friends, the Universalist/Unitarians, who are so far left, they would fall off the earth if it were flat. I love em anyway)
