Need is a funny word.....all we need to wage war is Turkey or Kuwait but what we really need is the support of our strongest allies.<

What is it with you guys who think lack of support from Germany or France translates into no support at all. Bush announced that 14 of 18 NATO members supported the US position. Only 4 support Frances and Germany's side. What makes you think, after Powells speech they won't jump onboard. All they are trying to do is play to the crowds, not lead the crowd. Secondly, when has the US ever had unanimous support. I bet Bill didn't have that percentage of UN support when he went into Bosnia, so what is so important about it now, other than the fact GW is republican, and you hate GW.
