As long as there are no restrictions against dual citizenship for a specific government position, I don't think any "statement from someone in authority that in fact there are not any citizens of Israel in the policy-making apparatus of gov't" is desirable or necessary. Why do you specifically refer to Israel and not other countries? That sounds anti-Semitic as well as paranoid.

And no, I didn't know the WSJ reporter Daniel Perle was an Israeli citizen nor do I think it is or was significant.

You seem to be suggesting that U.S. policy toward Israel should be influenced by what Al Qaeda thinks or says. I would not think much of a country that would drop support for its friends and allies in response to threats from terrorists. That is called appeasement.
