Hmmm since when do engineer types (on average) not care about stability? Even business giants with that background cannot remove their stripes. Not only is it all to human but this class of people, other than perhaps accountants, wear stability as a crown. In any event there is no question that a company like INTC provides far far greater stability than most tech firms. But on one point we agree whole-heartedly: until the laws are changed it is unlikely we will see a move away from current compensation strategies.
