The Government borrows $700 million from the Social Security Account to finance other government operations and you blame the program and call it the SS ponzi scheme. Well, it wasn't the Social Security Program that caused the problem. It was using the surplus revenues from Social Security to finance other government operations - including defense - to the amount of $700 million that caused the problem. Now, the government is dependent on those Social Security Revenues. It is those revenues, which in large part, will finance the Iraq adventure.
