I'm for tax breaks for everyone both for practical reasons and to support a greater level of justice and freedom. If you tax the rich you also hurt the middle class as you reduce investment (less after tax return on any given investment means lower incentive to invest, and in general more money to the government means less available for private investment).

We have the lowest taxes for the rich in the western world.

At least one of the lowest and perhaps the lowest but the fact that other people have gone even further in the wrong direction doesn't mean that we have moved in the right direction.
